How do i register a team?
We are very excited that you are looking to become a part of the Kelowna Showdown! Registration can be done by clicking the link below. This will take you to our partner registration site.
If you don't see your division, make sure to scroll down on the drop down tab!
Team captains: You will need to select your appropriate division and format, and click register. You will then be prompted to create an account (or log-in to an existing one).
After registering, you will receive your team code via email. Your teammates can then register at the registration link above, select "join a team with a team code," and then input the code to be added to your roster. Once again, this can be done online, or via the TeamLinkt app.
What skill divisions are available? How do I choose?
The Kelowna Showdown offers three different formats of play, and three skill divisions:
Co-ed Reverse 4's: 4v4 grass volleyball. 2 men and 2 women on the court. Reverse rules apply (men must attack from behind the attack line, men can only block men). Advanced and Intermediate options.
Grass Triples (Men's and Women's): 3v3 volleyball! Advanced and Intermediate options.
Co-ed Sixes (Beginner level only) ***NEW FOR 2026***: 6v6 volleyball on the grass, for our recreational division players. Minimum 2 female players on the court at all times.
Skill divisions.
Advanced: High-level club, University/college, professional, or advanced beach/grass experience. Ability to consistently serve, pass, set & hit on demand.
Intermediate: High school/community centre play or better, or some club experience.
Beginner: Recreational play. Play for the enjoyment of the sport.

How Much does the tournament cost?
Price vary depending on the format! Costs (per team) are below:
Triples: $135/team
R4s: $180/team
Recreational sixes: $210/team
Individual: $45/person
You may add up to 5 people on a triples roster, 6 people on a fours roster, and 9 on a sixes roster (exceptions can be considered. Please contact us at kelownashowdown@gmail.com with details)
Is there an age restriction?
Participants must be 16+. Exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis. Please contact us directly to submit a claim.
I don't have a Team. Can I register alone (or with a friend?)
Absolutely!
Simply select the "individuals" registration section, and input some information about yourself (skill level, desired division, anybody else who signed up as an individual who you would like to be paired with, etc.) We will do our best to fit you into a team!
