What is the showdown?
The Kelowna Showdown is Kelowna's premier grass volleyball tournament.
Taking place over two days, the tournament provides teams of all skill levels the chance to compete in several different formats. This weekend is sure to include sun, competition, music, beverages, and tons of prizes!
How did the showdown come to be?
Growing up, sports were often seen as an opportunity to compete. As we grow older, we come to realize that they are so much more:
-Opportunities to catch up with friends
-Chances to stay active
-Ways to maintain connection with community and family
-Times to have fun!
The Kelowna Showdown represents the attempt of two former varsity volleyball athletes to create the ultimate tournament experience. Standard tournaments offer gameplay. The Showdown elevates this setting by including music, beverages, and prizes. It does this in beautiful Kelowna BC. There is no better place to play!
